KKR ENT HOSPITAL: The KKR ENT Hospital and Research Institute is the largest private ENT Hospital in South India. The hospital was started by Professor K.K.Ramalingam in 1973 and today it is a leading tertiary referral centre in the field of ENT & Head & Neck surgery. The KKR ENT Hospital has 5 satellite centres in Chennai city and also one in Kolkata. Prof .K.K.Ramalingam heads the team of 16 ENT Surgeons and over 100 allied medical and Para medical staff at the institute. Prof. K.K.Ramalingam and his son Prof. Ravi Ramalingam started the Cochlear Implant program at the KKR ENT Hospital in 2001. This program is one of the most successful program in South India and till today has performed over 150 Implants.
